Phone does not appear in the Bluetooth Phones preferences.
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone and your computer.
- Set your phone as "discoverable" by other Bluetooth devices.
- Create a Bluetooth pairing between your phone and your computer using the Bluetooth pane of the OS X System Preferences.
- Click the "Add..." button in the Bluetooth Phones tab of the BluePhoneElite 2 preferences.
BluePhoneElite 2 is unable to identify, connect to or detect services on your phone.

- Enable Bluetooth on your phone and your computer.
- Disconnect other Bluetooth devices and services from the phone (headset, iSync, Address Book, internet connect, etc.)
- Power your phone off, wait 10 seconds, then power back on. It may also help to remove the battery.
- Restart your computer.
- Delete your phone's pairing with the computer, then pair it again.
Use the refresh button above the service list to re-test your phone. This is the same as clicking the Remove and Add buttons.
BluePhoneElite 2 does not offer to install the BPEnabler (Symbian or Windows Mobile phones).

Certificate error appears when installing the BPEnabler (Symbian phones).
You will need to configure your phone to allow installation of self-signed programs. Change the "Software Installation" setting from "Signed Only" to "All" and the "Online Certification" setting from "On" to "Off."
On most phones these settings are under: Menu > Tools > Settings > Security settings > Certificate management
On some Nokia phones they are under: Menu > Tools > App Manager > Options > Settings
