Installing BluePhoneElite 2

Install

1) Download

Download the BluePhoneElite 2 installer the from the Mira Software web site. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file if it does not open automatically. Once you have agreed to the software license, the BluePhoneElite 2 installer disk will appear on your desktop.

2) Copy

Open the disk and copy the BluePhoneElite 2 application into the Applications folder. If you are done with the installer disk you can unmount it and delete the .dmg file. To unmount the disk, drag the BluePhoneElite 2 disk from the desktop to the trash icon in the dock. Then drag the BluePhoneElite 2 .dmg file to the trash to delete the installer.

3) Launch

To launch BluePhoneElite 2 for the first time, open the Applications folder and double-click the BluePhoneElite 2 icon. Open the preferences to add a Bluetooth phone.

Uninstall

1) Download

See step 1 above.

2) Uninstall

Double-click the "Uninstall BPE2" application in the BluePhoneElite 2 installer disk.

Troubleshooting

The BluePhoneElite 2 installer disk image does not mount.

Download the installer from the web site again.

Unable to copy over an old version of BluePhoneElite 2.

Drag the old application to the Trash before copying BluePhoneElite 2 to the Applications folder.
