The Address Field

Use an address field to set the recipient(s) of a new call, text message or chat.

Enter the first name, last name, nickname, company name, or enter phone numbers directly. In address fields that support multiple entries, type the name of a phonebook group.

BluePhoneElite will auto-complete as you type, using contacts from Address Book and your phone (if supported).

Select a Contact

If multiple entries are found, a drop down list will be displayed. Continue typing to reduce the number of results, or select the appropriate contact from the drop down list.

Address Field Options

The address field options button modifies the behavior of the address field.

Show mobile numbers only: Auto-complete should only return entries marked as mobile phone numbers when searching for phonebook matches. When entering a group into the address field, contacts without mobile numbers are not included, and the mobile number is automatically selected for contacts with multiple phone numbers.
