BluePhoneElite includes several plugins that convert calls and messages (events) into formats other applications can read.
Apple Address Book: A description of the event is added to an Apple Address Book contact's notes. See Address Book Exporter.
iCal: A description of the event is added to an iCal calendar. See iCal Exporter.
MSWord File: The event is saved to a .doc file (works with TextEdit, some version of Microsoft Word).
RTF File: The event is saved to an .rtf file (includes font and style data, works with most text editors).
Text File: The event is saved to a .txt file (does not include font and style data, works with all text editors).
To export data, select one or more items in the Call Center or Message Center. Then select Export (⌘E) from the File menu. You can also click the Export toolbar button, available in most windows.
The File menu is only available when the Background Application option is turned OFF.
BluePhoneElite keeps your data in your home directory under the folder: ~/Library/Application Support/BluePhoneElite 2/Data/
Generally, you should not need to access the files in this directory. In the event you need to backup or restore BluePhoneElite data, there are several options available in the BluePhoneElite File menu.
Multiple options are available under these sub-menus:
Backup: Save a copy of existing data to a .bpdatastore file
Restore: Merge or replace existing data with the contents of a .bpdatastore or .xml (BPE1 or BPE2) file
You can also restore a .bpdatastore file by double-clicking it in the Finder.
