Dock

BluePhoneElite can display the status of a connected phone using the application's icon in the dock.

Meters for network and power, and indicators for missed calls, new messages, and low battery are drawn over the dock icon.

Menu Bar

The status icon displays the current state of connections to the device, as well as the network signal and battery levels (for compatible devices).

Move your cursor over the status icon to view additional device details.

Data Connection

  • Unavailable: The device could not be found.

  • Disconnected: The device is available but a Bluetooth data connection has not been established.

  • Connecting: BluePhoneElite is attempting to establish a Bluetooth data connection and identify the device.

  • Connected: A Bluetooth data connection to the device has been established.

Hands-Free Connection

  • Unavailable: The device could not be found.

  • Disconnected: Hands-Free is possible but has not been established.

  • Connecting: BluePhoneElite is attempting to establish a Bluetooth connection for Hands-Free.

  • Pending: Device does not support Hands-Free while the Bluetooth data connection is open. BluePhoneElite will close the Bluetooth data connection and open the Hands-Free connection when a call begins.

  • Connected: A Hands-Free connection to the device has been established.

File Transfer Connection

  • Connecting: BluePhoneElite is attempting to establish a Bluetooth connection for file transfer.

  • Connected: A file transfer connection to the device has been established but it is not being used.

  • Transferring: A file is being transmitted or received over the file transfer connection.

Network and Power Levels

  • Network: Indicates the cellular network signal strength.

  • Battery: The device is being powered from the battery.

  • Charging: The device is charging its battery or the device is being powered by an external source.
